The Wings Page

each of us have wings

that we never see

until our time comes

and to heaven we will be

have i lost my wings?

i hope not im sure

but sometimes i wonder

i am so insecure

does God really forgive?

does he even exist?

my heart knows the answers

that my mind tries to resist

will my wings be there

when i reach eternity?

i pray to God for answers

 and just have to believe

our wings are not in eyesight

they are shadows on our backs

and they watch us through our nightmares

and help us through attacks

i wish i had my wings already

as my mind and heart agree

but i know now i have angels

watching over me......
